James is FCCA Qualified and originally gained his qualification with a firm in Oxford in 2002. James then moved to the Shropshire area in 2004 and went on to take over Mike Griffiths & Partners in April 2008.
James has experience with a wide variety of clients from a range of backgrounds and is, therefore, able to use his significant commercial awareness to offer practical help and advice on all key areas of Accountancy and Taxation.
James has four daughters and, when he can find spare time, he enjoys most sports. He particularly enjoys football and horse racing, especially when combined with a good drink and something to eat.
Joanne first started at Mike Griffiths & Partners as a trainee at the age of sixteen and has been with us for over thirty years. Joanne’s work is most prominently with the Accounts and Tax Returns of the Soletrader and Partnership clients, ensuring all statutory deadlines are met.
Outside of the office, Joanne enjoys spending her spare time taking her dog for long walks and going on days out.
Suzanne is another long-serving member of our team, having been here for almost twenty years. Suzanne takes care of PAYE and VAT Returns, making sure all clients are kept up to date with ever-changing legislation.
In Suzanne’s spare time she enjoys going to the gym, going to nice restaurants and drinking the odd glass of wine.
Mark has over 15 years’ experience dealing with small to medium-sized businesses. Mark is mainly responsible for Corporate clients within the office. A very methodical and organised professional, whose strengths lie with his numerical competence, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Away from work Mark enjoys playing Golf and volunteering at the nearby Animal rescue centre.
Gareth has vast experience dealing with businesses in the local area. Having been in General Practice for over 20 years, Gareth’s attention to detail is second to none.
Away from the office Gareth enjoys reading, sports and going to the local Pub.
Lucy is our Trainee Accountant and is currently in her final year of AAT. She is looking to undertake the ACCA exams in order to become a fully qualified Accountant.
Away from work, Lucy is a keen runner, undertaking numerous races throughout the local area.
Olya joined us two years ago having recently qualified with the ACCA. She specialises in the Management Accounts side of the business, going out to various clients and setting up their accounting systems and providing them with continued support.
Outside of work, Olya enjoys photography and travel.
Christine joined us over 4 years ago and is our Office Administrator. She deals with all the day to day aspects within the office and is the first point of call for clients coming in.
Away from work, Christine likes to be sociable and so enjoys a good night out.
